Aspen

Aspen

Aspen

Born on 4/17/20

Weight - 55 pounds

Aspen is the daughter of Arya and Baxter. She has a lighter, wavy coat that is shorter and thinner than her parents right now, but her adult coat has not come in yet. Aspen has a very lovable temperament and enjoys snuggling all day. But she also loves to play fetch.  Her best friend is Luna, the daughter of Baxter and Lucy.

Lucy is the daughter of retired Baley, Maggie Mae's sister. Lucy has a medium to dark Golden coat. She is very playful yet mellow.  She loves to snuggle, play fetch, and go on long walks.

Arya

Arya

Arya

Born on 12/19/16

Weight - 60 pounds

Arya is the daughter of Chloe, who is an International Champion. Arya has a wonderful, laid-back temperament.  She is a light Golden Overlay (the coat on her tummy and between her legs is white and the fur on her head and down her body and legs is slightly darker), with a medium thick and wavy coat. Arya's father is also an International Champion as well as an UKC Grand Champion

Luna

Arya

Arya

Born on 9/4/20

Weight - 55 pounds

Luna is the daughter of Lucy and Baxter.  Luna still has her puppy coat. We believe that she will be a darker red with Golden overlay, like her mother, when her adult coat comes in.  She is very playful yet mellow.  She loves to snuggle, play fetch, and wrestle with Aspen.

Meet Our Goldens!

    OUR Retired OR NON-BREEDING Goldens

    Zoe

    Baxter

    Baxter

    Born 3/3/2006

    Expired January, 2017

    Weight - 60 pounds

Zoe was our foundation Bitch, and the reason that we are completely devoted to the Golden Retriever breed.  Zoe was a very active, fun-loving Golden.  She was obsessed with balls and playing fetch.  She played for hours, if we were willing to throw the ball.  Zoe had a wonderful life and acted like a puppy until 3 weeks before she passed, when suddenly her health fell rapidly.  She had multiple trips to the vet, and they could not identify the cause of her illness.  I have recently (2019) spoken to our holistic vet, who feels that she developed tick-borne illness which led to her death.

    Baxter

    Baxter

    Born on 3/12/2009

    Expired 7/26/2021

    Weight - 75 pounds

Baxter was our foundation Stud. Baxter was a medium-shade golden with a fairly thick, medium length, wavy coat. He had a wonderful temperament and always stayed close to anyone near. Everyone fell in love with Bax as soon as they met him.  He sold puppies for us since he was 4 months old.  If he liked you, he leaned on you to let you know.  Rest in peace big boy.

    Baley

    Baxter

    Maggie Mae

    Born on 1/12/2010

    Expired 2/8/2021

    Weight - 60 pounds

Baley was the sister and littermate of Maggie Mae, who currently lives with our son and daughter-in-law. Baley is the mother to our Lucy.  She was a passionate, fun-loving Golden with a laid back (aka lazy) personality and loved to snuggle.

    Maggie Mae

    Maggie Mae

    Maggie Mae

    Born on 1/12/10

    Weight - 60 pounds

Maggie Mae can be distinguished between the other Goldens by her cowlick that is between her eyes. She has a laid back, independent personality but will snuggle the ones she holds dear to her heart. Maggie Mae is currently retired. She is living at her forever home with Brock, our son, and his girlfriend, Hannah. She is currently certified as an Emotional Support Animal.

    Jezebel

    Maggie Mae

    Jezebel

    Born on 7/26/15

    Weight - 55 pounds

Jezebel has a love-able personality, as she will hold "a conversation" with you when she wants to show off her newest toys. Due to medical reasons (mild hip dysplasia), she will not be bred and is considered retired. She has found her forever home with us, as she made herself a special place in our hearts.

    The Dog Condo

      Interior

Each interior room is 7 ft x 10 ft and leads to an exterior pen.  At the end of the hallway, there is an enclosed tunnel that connects the left side rear pen to the right side rear pen. The left side of the Dog Condo is heated and air conditioned.

      Exterior

The exterior kennels are 10 ft x 12 ft. Each exterior kennel on each side has a connecting gate, so if our Goldens do not need to be separated (due to heat cycles or litters) they can roam all 4 pens.

Our Goldens are only in the Dog Condo when we are away from home. If we are at home, they are with us, either in the yard or in the house. When we are gone, we have video cameras that allow us to monitor them for safety.

Future Plans for the Dog Condo

We are in the process of installing ceramic tile in each of the interior rooms for cleanliness and longevity

      The Puppy Room

When we have puppies, we often have the air conditioner or heater blasting, a fan to circulate the air for the mama (or she will get too hot), and a heat lamp hanging above the Whelping Box to keep the puppies warm when the mama needs a break. The puppies will mainly stay in the dog condo for the first couple weeks aside from coming inside with us to bath or cuddle with them.

What we are feeding our Goldens

Currently, we are feeding our Goldens a raw diet. This raw diet consists of alternating between vegetable/fruits and the raw meat. We are members of a Facebook Group called Raw Feeding Hickory. Every 8 weeks, we place an order of roughly 800 lbs. and then pick up the order in Hickory 3-4 weeks later.  With our 6 Goldens, we are using roughly 80 lbs. per feeding, 3 times a week (if calculated that is estimated 40 lbs. a week for one dog!)

When we are not feeding the Goldens meat, they tend to enjoy a variation of fruits and vegetables. The current favorites for them are sweet potatoes, apples, kiwi, and pears.

If you are interested in feeding raw to your Goldens, email Titandogfoodinfo@titandogfood.com!
